How ThyssenKrupp conducted research to better understand sustainability goals
ThyssenKrupp are an industrial engineering and steel production conglomerate. They provide open-pit mining equipment and systems, mineral processing and material handling solutions. They wanted to work with ContentWorks to better understand how mining companies are viewing energy efficiency when purchasing equipment.
A quantitative research survey was conducted to a sample of 50 decision makers from mining companies in production. Questions were created in collaboration with our editorial team that focused on areas like approaches to reduce energy consumption, vendor access and involvement and higher capacity conveyor use.
The research was also used to assess awareness levels about and outlook towards possible adoption of ThyssenKrupp’s RailRunning Conveyor Technology for energy efficiency
The research was charted and presented within aPowerPoint format that was then adapted by ThyssenKrupp for their own marketing activity. The research was created so that ThyssenKrupp retained ownership, allowing them to re-purpose the data for blog posts, internal training and content production. In addition to the research, a one page Infographic was produced that summarised 6 key data points and was promoted across our own mining community.
The survey and results conducted was areal success. The combination of reach to relevant respondents and delivery exceeded our expectation. We are pleased with the completed infographic and research summary. Thank you for the great cooperation!
